A leading North East shopping centre is making sure visitors have a cracking time over the Easter weekend.
On Saturday 20 April Sunderland’s the Bridges is hosting an Easter event, with activities, prizes and a very special guest.
The Easter Bunny will be entertaining visitors throughout the day and a face painter will be on hand to give children a seasonal spring design.
And shoppers feeling lucky can try their hand at spinning the Wheel of Fortune, with a range of Easter treats up for grabs.
Andy Bradley, centre director at the Bridges, believes the event has great appeal.
“Easter is a busy time at the Bridges, with a wide choice of retailers for shoppers to buy their Easter gifts from,” said Andy.
“We wanted to organise a fun event that the whole family could enjoy during their visit to the centre, whether they are picking up last minute bits for Easter or just browsing the shops.
“With chocolate prizes, face painting and even a visit from the Easter Bunny himself, it’s certain to be a lot of fun.”
The event is free to attend and will take place at the Bridges’ Central Park from 11am to 4pm.
