These two talks by Prof. Andrew Beeby and Prof. Paula Chadwick from Durham University will reveal the importance of light imaging technology in the analysis of pigments in illuminated manuscripts and the evolution of modern day telescopes.
These talks are inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s fascination with light and optics and are supported by the Friends of Sunderland Museum and the Institute of Physics.
£2 per person – pay on the door and does not include entry into the exhibition – exhibition tickets have to be purchased separately.
