Spend an evening with raconteur poet Luke Wright at the top of his game subjecting the English language to a series of degrading new tricks, all for your amusement. This show tours the flat-roofed pubs and half-bought couches of Brexit Britain and featues a selection of poems from The Toll (Penned in the Margins, 2017). It struggles with doubt, duty and a score of half-cut nights spent shouting impotently at Question Time.
Fresh from Glastonbury and local favourite Rowan McCabe, the world’s first Door-to-Door Poet, supports Luke’s show.
£5 per person.
This show is part of Sunderland Stages Autumn/Winter 2017 programme.
